World Orphan Week 2017
WOW – time to make a difference!
Take part in our fun and fabulous campaign by wearing something WOW for a day during SOS Children’s World Orphan Week.
In September 2017, people across the UK from city dwellers to country folk and school kids to politicians, will be wearing something wacky, extravagant or just plain out of the ordinary to support World Orphan Week, SOS Children’s Villages’ annual fundraiser.
14 – 30 September 2017
WOW – World Orphan Week – a time when you can make a real difference
World Orphan Week aims to get any and everyone joining in to help make a difference to the lives of children in need.
Anyone can get involved – individuals, families, friends, clubs, offices and schools.
And it couldn’t be easier. Encourage everyone you know to ‘wear something WOW’ for a day in exchange for a suggested donation of £1 per child and £2 per adult. Wear a feather in your hair, a fabulously loud tie, fancy dress, your partner’s clothes or a decorated school bag – just make it shout ‘WOW’.
Go on, bring some colour and sparkle to September!
The awareness and funds raised through World Orphan Week enable SOS Children’s Villages to change the lives of these vulnerable children and ensure they grow up with the love, care and security of a family.
Every pound you raise helps give more children a family for live. Find out more about what we do.
World Orphan Week is an opportunity for you to be part of this challenge.
