Whether you are a yummy mummy or a club scout, a chorister, footballer or Rotarian, we’d love you to get stuck in and take part in “World Orphan Week”
Fundraising is fun and immensely rewarding, and the great thing is there are so many different ways of doing it. Inject the WOW factor and get sponsored for doing your favourite sport, have a coffee morning, karaoke night or dress down day at work – the possibilities are endless.
Wear something WOW! – It’s really easy, promises to be a lot of fun, and most importantly, it’s going to make a big difference to the lives of vulnerable children around the world.
For a suggested donation of £1, £2 or whatever you can afford, we would like you to tweak your outfit for a day, to prompt a smile, raise an eyebrow, or provoke a second look!
Why not swap your cap for a sombrero, your belt for some braces, or your twin set and pearls for fancy-dress? Or simply wear a ‘WOW’ badge.
Every penny will benefit SOS Children’s projects supporting orphaned, abandoned and vulnerable children.
Simply register to take part, download or request a pack and spread the word about World Orphan Week to your club, group or network of friends.
Choose a day or evening during 24-30 September to ‘wear something WOW’, send out invitations or let everyone know about it on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or your own website. Then all that’s left to do is pick out your WOW outfit!
